My first of eight poster designs for this years Oscar nominated films. American Sniper is about Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle’s and his tours in Iraq. For the poster I wanted to use the obvious patriotic iconography of the US flag, but also wanted to find a way to depict the hidden nature of snipers.
